Smart Tachograph DTCO 4.1
The new smart tachograph (2nd version), which will be mandatory for the entire European commercial vehicle fleet used in cross-border transport above 2.5 tons, becomes the supplier of trusted vehicle data that can also be used for tolling. It is the first industrial application implementing the secured GNSS functionality and therefore is the enabler for smart tolling.

It provides valuable data used for tolling like move, zone, or standstill detections, logging, events and many more. Running on 4G technology (and a 2G fallback system) and supported by the latest GNSS module with an accuracy of less than six meters, it provides Europe-wide coverage. The tried-and-tested DSRC module fulfill all standards required and has undergone homologation in Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and NW.
