Explaination Radar function

RADAR stands for Radio Detection And Ranging System

  • Electromagnetic system to detect the distance and location of objects
  • Works on the principle of reflection with radio waves using the Doppler effect and time to fly
  • Waves are transmitted through space onto the object
  • The radio waves are radiated via an antenna attached to the transmitter
  • Advanced Range Radar (ARS) for front and back side looking
  • Short Range Radar (SRR) for side looking and blind spot detection
